Calibration Ride - Didn't Go as Described but Seemed to Complete
I followed the instructions for the calibration ride, but when it hit 50 on my Garmin, it didn't turn red and need a button press. It just kept going as I turned around and got to 100 very close to where I started. After that, it displayed power data as I rode back home. When I got back, I plugged i...

PowerPod Delay to Garmin 530
I have a PowerPod v3, a Garmin Edge 530, a Wahoo speed sensor, and a Wahoo cadence sensor. When riding with the PowerPod, the power, speed, and cadence numbers on my Garmin 530 are all delayed about 5 to 7 seconds. When I ride without the PowerPod, the delay from the speed and cadence sensors is onl...

Re: First Ride: Ride File and Questions about Calibration and Importing Sensor Data
Thanks for all the info and quick response! Are you saying I need to do an additional ride or just attach the other rides it showed when I connected it after the calibration ride? Attached are the other two ride files that it spit out after the calibration ride. The one that ends with 0000_1 is show...

Re: First Ride: Ride File and Questions about Calibration and Importing Sensor Data
I decided to give up on trying to use my iPhone and the Wahoo app as my cycling computer. It refused to show either speed or cadence, depending on the day. As a result, I purchased a Garmin Edge 530. I also moved the PowerPod to the other side of the handle bars. As a result, I figured I should just...

Re: First Ride: Ride File and Questions about Calibration and Importing Sensor Data
Thanks for the quick response (on a Sunday, no less). As to the downhill watts, I guess I just felt like I was pushing a lot harder than 20 watts. I’ll stop doing the check calibration thing now. Thanks for clearing it up. I’ll try converting the fit file tonight to see if I can then import the HR i...

First Ride: Ride File and Questions about Calibration and Importing Sensor Data
I went on my first ride yesterday. I had several questions about it. First, my setup is PowerPod V3 connected to Wahoo speed and cadence sensors via Ant+. The PP is connected to my iPhone using the Wahoo Fitness app via BLE. 1) The PP was not broadcasting speed. It just said N/A on the screen (not —...
