Re: Comm error with device
We did nothing, so nothing changed — Isaac says that 7.08 is the latest firmware. And PP still enters the calibration mode without reason every so often

Re: Comm error with device
Hi again. Last time I contacted support and they suggested me to erase all ride data to fix the problem. This worked However, recently my PP started to cut off randomly, initialize the calibration ride by itself and without proper LED indication (I can see that from the power growing steadily 1-50 o...

Re: Comm error with device
No, neither helped. I restarted the laptop and checked the cable by transfering some files back and forth my phone and computer.
Today I took the PP out for a ride and did a new calibration. The PP seems to work and transmits power to my watch, but I still cannot download the rides using Isaac.

Comm error with device
Hi everybody, I've been using PP3 for some months now and generally pretty happy with it. However, today I tried to connect it to Issac/Mac (Mojave) and I keep getting a repeated prompt to download the ride files. The connection indicator switches from green to gray periodically. If I decline this p...

Re: Suspecting calibration problems
Hi John, Thanks for additional instructions. It would be great to get these in the box with the unit. The shortened version loses too much detail. An interactive app would be even better. 1) The end of any pairing sequence, before the light goes out, is a solid green light. Solid green means speed h...

Re: Suspecting calibration problems
Hi John, I just completed a ride according to your instructions. 1) After the light flashed red/green, did you click the button to start the calibration ride? If so, are you saying that the watts climbed from 0 to 100 (1-2-3-4-5 etc) in only 500 meters? Are you also saying that, at the 50W mark, the...

Re: Wind, rain, & power
Hi John. I want to bring to your attention that the author of the topic describes the same behavior of the calibration ride as I get (https://velocompforum.com/viewtopic.php ... 35&p=27750). This makes me think it's not a random inconvenience nor his/my fault.

Re: Suspecting calibration problems
Thanks, I will try this one. Please disregard the HR reading, I believe it's because I did not wet the belt. Sometimes my Wahoo Tickr goes crazy like that. I also have a question regarding the position of PP. There's a video for PP2 that teaches me to rotate it in the mount forward until stop. While...

Suspecting calibration problems
Hi! I've just purchased PowerPod v3 and now I'm trying to get reliable measurements. Up to now, I've successfully setup PP on my handlebars, connected it to speed/cadence sensors, performed around 5 calibration rides (including one after installing Isaac for Mac). PP seems to work, it readily report...
