Re: New AeroPod 2.0 CdA app for ConnectIQ Garmin computers

I'm not sure if that is a bug or a feature...riding after dark is not something most cyclists do :-) If you as I live at 55 latitude then the sun sets between 4 - 5 pm every day so riding in the dark is something required if you want to ride outside ;-) Here is a shot from my Garmin this evening; I...

Re: New AeroPod 2.0 CdA app for ConnectIQ Garmin computers

Hi John, I tried it on my ride today and can confirm that it works perfectly :) It would however be nice if the app could be split so the gauges could be placed in a separate field and the statistics field in another. I did found a small bug though. After sunset Garmin inverts all colours - white fo...

Re: New AeroPod 2.0 CdA app for ConnectIQ Garmin computers

Hi John, The instruction says that the app must be displayed in a 1 field screen but I wonder if it would be possible to have it displayed in a 3 field screen - app takes half and then 2 fields below it? The reason is that I heavily rely on heart beat and cadence metrics should I would really like t...

Re: AeroPod CdA

1) We have had no other reports of our app stopping working, so it's conjecture to conclude that Garmin FW changes introduced incompatibilities. Garmin is a big company, and it seems unlikely that they would make changes that would break ConnectIQ apps. Just to revive this issue and to proof I am n...

Re: AeroPod CdA

Hi John, I suggest you contact Garmin. What do you expect Garmin could do since it is not their app? I expect Garmin would say that I should contact the person who owns the app and ask that person to upgrade the app to meet the expectations of the new API version. The changes needed requires access ...

Hi John, I have verified that the connection is ANT+ but worse is that it seems that connectIQ API has been upgraded on all current Garmin computers so this might be the reason for the AeroPod CdA has stopped working - and not just my Garmin 830 but all current Garmin cycling computers: https://www....

AeroPod CdA

Hi all,

After the firmware in my Garmin 830 was upgraded to 9.xx (9.00, 9.10, 930) the AeroPod CdA data fields stopped to work. I have tried to uninstall and install the AeroPod CdA again but still nothing shows. Anybody experiences the same?

Re: Tubeless

Tubeless tyres have substantially less RR and I run them at low pressure for comfort, reduced vibration and hence higher speed. There is a little misunderstanding here. Tubeless tires does not provide higher speed due to lower pressure and reduced vibration. The main reason is that you do not have ...

My guess is that it is watt distribution. Eg. how long time on this particular ride you performed this watt number.

Re: Bolt reporting ~50% speed (and distance)

On a Garmin only one sensor at a time can be used for a specific measurement. Eg. if speed is coming from a sensor on the wheel speed cannot at the same time come from PP. As soon as you click 'start ride' all sensors for a specific measurement is locked and cannot be changed as long as the ride is ...

Feature request - show battery level

Hi all,

I have a feature request for Isaac which is as follows:
When PP or AP is in connected state in Isaac it would be very useful if a small icon showed the current battery level in the device as a percentage number. While charging this number of course should be updated.

I had the same problem yesterday. The day before I connected it to a USB power device and as usual I saw a number of green led blink followed by a number of red led blink as usual. The next day it would not power on so I connected it to the power source again and left it the night over. Next day did...

I might should have been more precise. The problem is not cause by installing the app the problem is when click on the start button, eg when the app is recording your position via gps. Could you tell which versions of Android you have tried the app on?

You do not calibrate PP with your Garmin. Calibration is for direct attached power meters.
