AeroPod, PowerPod and Newton

Thanks for the update, in case you ever run out of feature ideas (which never happens) some way integrating an external lap trigger/signal would be very useful for us track folk.

So currently the only way would be to replace the Wahoo with a Garmin?

Is there any way to signal/trigger laps using Bluetooth LTE or Ant+ to the AeroPod? The reason I'm asking is that I'm hoping to retire my Wahoo Elemnt from my track bike and start recording data with my AeroPod only but that would leave me without a way to time my laps.
