Hi John,
I sent the info to technical support, but no answer yet. I really want this to start working again, at least like the PPv3 because the power is almost zero everytime that the slope is above 2 or 3%.
Thanks!@

New PP v5 and a lot of issues
After my PP3 die for no reason, I just update to a PPv5 and was expecting the same process as the PP3 but to my surprise, it looks like there are several issues with my new PPv5. To start, I need to keep hard resetting (12s button press) it because it locks up. I have done a reset at least 10 times,...

Re: Isaac Mac and Catalina MacOS
There are an enormous number of proprietary algorithms in Isaac. This is not IP that we want to share. Hi John, I understand your concern about IP, but you can keep it inside a dll and let the open source comumity to draw plots, export files and most important, keep it up to date with the constant ...

Re: Pairing hiccups
Realistically, I'd say the calibration is well refined and my profile is generally where I want it, other than the missing HR strap. Are the Lites able to capture three data streams (speed, cadence and HR)? I had the same issue, my HRM strap never paired with my PP lite. I tried like a dozen times ...

Re: CdA changing during the Ride
Hi John, Thank you for your fast answer. The CdA used in your PP is established at setup (for you it is 0.350), and does not (and cannot) change at all during the ride. That is what I was expecting, however, as I said in my original post, the power was way too high and my W' bal went too negative to...

CdA changing during the Ride
Hi John, I've recently noticed that during the rides the CdA that is used by the PP (and Isaac) to calculate power is changing and not what was defined on the profile (I'm not using a DFPM). I would like to understand why the PP is doing that, because it is doing exactly the opposite to what I'm rea...

Switch Profile After-the-Ride
Hi John,
I just noticed that if the function Switch Profile After-The-Ride is used with the same profile that was used on the activity, the average values changed even when the Aero and Friction values are the same. Is there any explanation for that? What would be more accurate?
Thank you!!

Feature Request - MTB Mode
Hi Velocomp, So far, I have been really happy with my PP. It works OK as long as I know the limitations. As I understand, the cadence sensor is used to zero the power out when the cadence is zero, no matter what is power level that is calculated by the PP, is that correct?. The problem is during MTB...

Re: How long should my PP keep charge for?
I'm also interested to know this. Any estimated time with the PP off ?? any plan to improve it? I would expect that a turn off device to keep charge for months, not days.

Maximum wind speed
As the subject says, what is the maximum speed that the wind sensor can withstand without permanent damage? I'm no concerned of my speed, as I'm pretty slow, but of my car and roof rack. Do I need to remove th PP before driving for several hours?

Re: O&B calibration
Hi John,
Any idea why the HRM is not pairing? Should I add the HRM ID to the profile manually?
Thanks

O&B calibration
Hi John, I just received my PP Lite last week and I already started to play with all the options (even the lite version has a ton of features). I did the pairing of my sensors, but my HRM is not being detected, even after several tries. Anyway, after the calibration I went for a ride and the values ...
