PP Mount between clip on aero bars
Hello, I'm thinking of mounting my PP dead centre out in front of the stem using a garmin/gopro stem mount. Firstly, has any got experience of this kind of mount, does it effect accuracy compared to being clamped directly to the handbars? I'm thinking about vibration interfering with the readings. S...

Re: Erratic power readings, but AVG okish
Thanks all for the feedback, and now an interesting thread. Just for the record, I don't fiddle with my PP or Isaac for fun, life's to short :) My PP had a fault a couple of months ago where my laptop would not recognise it. Tech support advised a reset, which fixed it, but it then demanded a calibr...

Re: Erratic power readings, but AVG okish
Hello Again, I'm still not convinced my powerpod is working properly. I've recallibrated a number of times, and get the same high readings. On sunday I rode 40 miles over around 2:15 hours. Last time I measured my FTP a couple of months ago it was 288W, it's probably not very different now. On Sunda...

Erratic power readings, but AVG okish
Hello, Been a happy powerpod user for a few years now. Starting last summer I've lost confidence in my power readings, and after a winter on smart trainer and zwift, I'm less convinced my PP readings are accurate. The average according to Strava is probably not far off, but according to the PP I'm r...

Re: Recalibration feature request
Thanks for the feedback, I hadn't considered that kind of approach, I'll bear that in mind.
@john it's easier to click "update firmware" and never have to think about this again

Recalibration feature request
Hello, My PP has recalibrated a number of times over the last month or so, due to being swapped between bikes or getting knocked in transport. Probably like a lot of people I use a Garmin to display output and at the end of my ride garmin connect sends the detail to Strava. My feature request is tha...

How long should my PP keep charge for?
Hello, Usually I keep my bike in my garage and fully charge the PP after every ride, about twice a week. Right now I’m on holiday and my bike is only getting ridden once a week, So I’m charging it after a ride and then maybe not using it for a week. On two occasions now my garmin has indicated charg...

recalibration and out and back calibration
Hello, I recently swapped my powerpod from one bike to another and back again. Even though I thought I had been very careful with pushing the powerpod to the stop point on the mount, the powerpod recalibrated itself in the first 8 minutes of the ride. Given I've done out and back calibration previou...

powerpod on second bike, out and back cal ride fail
Hello, I successfully started the process to use my powerpod on my TT bike as a second bike. However when I got the place where I wanted to do the out and back, the battery in my speed/cadence sensor went flat! Having replaced the battery now, I've spent some time today trying the get the powerpod i...
