When I am connected to Garmin Edge 1030, I see the PP but it says battery level unavailable. So I was surprised to see John posting that it was available in Garmin. Am I looking in the wrong place??
Thanks,
Jim

Re: No PowerStroke today
I am also getting no power stroke data despite having upgraded PP to Powerstroke. Here's the data from Unlock status: Screen Shot 2023-10-02 at 4.19.30 PM.png And here's today's ride file (after doing the PStroke unlock last night Velocomp_10_02_2023_1520_13_Miles.ibr What's my best course of action...

Re: No Rides to download. Do I need to delete all rides?
Memory was full. Deleted all rides and works like a charm. Would be great to have a notification sent to Garmin head unit or a yellow single blip on the device when activating the device for a ride in the condition of a full memory.

Re: No Rides to download. Do I need to delete all rides?
Tried the reset and same thing. Have now erased the ride data and will ride again and see what happens.
A great feature would be some way in Isaac or on the device to let the user know when memory is full.
Cheers,
Jim

No Rides to download. Do I need to delete all rides?
I believe I have a PP V3 which still works great. I haven't tried downloading for a while since I have a MacBook Pro with Ventura and Isaac doesn't work on that. Now back home on iMac Catalina and connects with the PP but when I hit Download Ride Data it goes through checking ride files but does not...

New Sensor Same Bike
Switching from Garmin to Wahoo speed sensor on rear wheel because the Garmin one keeps losing connection with system. Do I need to force a new Cal Ride, set up a new profile?? What do you recommend??

Re: PP3 died mid ride
Or an app interface to allow for similar functionality. Shame that the second half of any group ride should be marred by PP getting confused by other sensors trying to pair with it. And annoying when the head unit bleeps every 30 sec as it gets a brief signal from pp

Re: PP3 died mid ride
Had to press and hold 4 sec twice then started flashing red green. Then pressed again and voila turned yellow. First time nothing then finally took and did cal ride now all good. I think what happened (and did so once before in similar setting) is that I was on a group ride with ten others, and stop...

Re: PP3 died mid ride
Right. Will do, but for this weekend I’m without Isaac since only a new Mac with no usb adapter. I tried to do the cal ride but no numbers came up despite it flashing yellow. I wonder if it’s toast?

Have done, and then it goes green and red alternating and no power readings. Second press goes yellow flashing but will not do cal ride either.

PP3 died mid ride
PP3 died mid ride. Had been working flawlessly for three years, and midway through epic 73 mi ride just started disconnecting and reconnecting to Garmin reporting ~ 30 sec of 0 power each time and flashing red/green. No button pushes would turn it off and after getting sick of hearing all the beeps ...

Re: How to load firmware keys with Isaac
Just want to say that you guys have gone the distance!! The new software is faster than the old and works perfectly thus far. Faster DL from the device with Powerstroke enabled as well. I was glad to pay the 20 bucks for the upgrade.
Cheers and thanks for the work,
Jim

Re: ATTENTION ISAAC/MAC USERS!!!
Just want to add my voice in thanking you for working on the Catalina compatible Mac Isaac software. Isaac is really useful and many of us dedicated Ppod users have been using it for years especially to fine-tune and choose profiles on different bikes - a big plus of the Ppod system. So Big Thanks!!...

Manual turn off Powerpod
In previous Powerpods (FW 4.26 on) I have always been able to turn off the device with 5 clicks and then the light goes to flashing red then quickly turns off. Now the new device goes from flashing red to off, but the device is still transmitting to my Garmin. What to do????

Re: Weird readings
Appreciate the response John. Actually the unit was totally charged (anxious about not being charged for the big ride) and no drafting and no obstruction. (Don't mean to sound like an orange haired political figure). But how do you explain the second bump to over a thousand watts? Seems really weird...

Re: Weird readings
Any love from or comment from Velocomp here would be greatly appreciated. Here are the ride files where the PP went nuts and initially showed way too high numbers then ended up with numbers that were really really low for the effort I put in (should have been about a 140-145W average). And the date ...

Re: Firmware 641 for PowerPod is available
When PP is moved from one bike to another, which it has previously been paired with, does it default to a new scan for sensors and force an O&B cal, or does it just recognize the previously st up bike and go to that profile and we’re good to go?

Re: Weird readings
Same behavior here. After having PP working for the last 6 months with some flaky readings now and then, I’ve calibrated it on two bikes and it seemed to do as advertised, sensing the second bike automatically. Then one fine morning, as I’m about to do my epic 70 miler, no readings at all, despite h...

Don't see anything yet! Update?? We're hanging on here. Love the device in principle, but when it's unreliable it's really frustrating.

Yes, but when I go to "Set Active Profile in Device" it shows "Unsaved (type: Initial Setup)" rather than the name I gave it when I set the device for out and Back.

I’m sure that’s right, but can Velocomp set this up so that the profiles on Powerpod are by default shared with the Isaac computer?

I would think this is not an uncommon setup. Could you post a FAQ about best practices using one Powerpod on different bikes potentially with different host computers running Isaac?
Thanks

Two different Macs -- Two different bikes -- One Powerpod
OK, I have two different road bikes in two locations each with a Mac running Isaac. I've successfully set up two different profiles one using Mac 1 for the bike in the city and the other using the second Mac for the bike in the country. Both bikes were set for "Best accuracy" and did the O...

Re: New Firmware 640 for PowerPod
So, to clarify. Using PP on two different bikes. Have set profiles for each bike (each bike has its own sensors). Have done Out and Back for each bike. When I move from one bike to another, do I have to switch the active profile using Isaac, or will the PP just see the sensors and switch profiles?
