That's interesting I might try this. Did you do any out and back calibration first?
I have done an out and back but made some adjustments to profile. I guess it's best to do and out and back calibration then do some laps of same circuit and use the check calibration tweek.

TT bike power pod check
Hi John, or anyone else who can give their opinion on my ride file. I used the PP for my first club 10 TT tonight, the power readings i saw seem quite high. I have read on the forum that normally the wind scaling for a tt postion is different, but the wind scaling factor is very similar to what i ha...

First circuit race with PP.
Hi, I used my PP tonight in a crit race, before the race earlier in the day i did an out and back calibration. I didn't analyse this calibration using the Isaac software. I have checked the data back and the power out put is far too high, i have tweaked the calibration. i think after the tweaks its ...

Hi,
I also found this, i have been either using the smoothing only on the PP or either the 3 sec average on the Garmin, both seem to work well separately but together as you mentioned it becomes a bit sluggish.

Profile number 2 question
I am a little confused as have read a few different things regarding the Profile setups. I have seen that your only meant to use profile 2 if using a combo mount with Go pro out in front. However i have setup a profile 2 using the PP mounted on the handlebar, as i have only just noticed this. Under ...

PP/Tacx bushido smart power curve ?
Hi,
I am trying to set up my PP for using whilst on my turbo trainer, i have found somwhere on the forum that the tacx vortex power curve is very similar to Tacx mag cycle level 7. would anyone know if this power curve is similar to the bushido ?
thanks

Hi Guys, I have just purchased a PP after reading all the great reviews about it. I have always used a power meter on my turbo trainer but this is my first experience with using a Power meter on the road. I went out for a ride earlier and calibrated the PP etc. The readings seem alot higher than wha...
