Re: Temperature values
Thanks, John. This is great because whatever internal sensors my computer lacks, the PP compensates for it....For instance, the Cateye Stealth Evo Plus does not come with barometer or thermometer. However it has an internal GPS chipset which the PP does not. So the beauty of this combination is that...

Temperature values
Hi John,
I am seeing that PP records temperature values as well for the overall ride when exported to Training Peaks, however, Isaac does not display temp values. Does the PP have a built-in thermometer as well?
Thanks.

Thank you, John.
Sorry for the dumb question....But how did you edit out the first 8 minutes of the ride? So, I'll know how to do it in the future...

Re: Fine tuning of PowerPod
Thank you, John! Appreciate your patience in answering all of our questions! I am attaching two ride files for your input. Both are same routes with the same starting and ending points. However, one (iBike_12_28_2016_1210_31_Miles.ibr) I believe as per your feedback from last time looks good. The ot...

New Firmware
Hi John,
Just curious about when you might release new firmware for the PowerPod....There was a Facebook post couple of weeks ago regarding some upcoming firmware releases....A sneak peak would be wonderful!

Re: First ride...Need feedback.
Many thanks, John.
Do I need to get the magnetless cadence sensor as well? Or can I use a combination of magnetless speed sensor and a magnet cadence sensor? Or should I get both magnetless?

Fine tuning of PowerPod
Hi,
I made some changes based on input received from tech support. Attached is my latest ride file. Do I need to make any fine tuning?
Appreciate your help and your time!

Re: First ride...Need feedback.
Hi John, According to Cateye tech support, the Garmin magnetless sensors do not work with Cateye computer. They said it will pair but you will experience issues with drops in speed and cadence data. So, I made some tweaks to my Cateye sensors...Basically, I moved the speed sensor much closer to the ...

Probably a more stable signal as the distance would be reduced.

Re: First ride...Need feedback.
Thanks! I looked into the magnet less speed and cadence sensor made by Garmin. The issue with this is that Garmin happens to transmit 6 digit wireless code and the Cateye EVO + can only take a max of 5 digits. So it won't work! Going forward in order to make the PP work, I would need to invest in th...

Re: First ride...Need feedback.
I use the Cateye ISC-10 which is ANT+ Speed and Cadence sensor. Works well for the Cateye computer. I did not witness any speed or cadence drops during my ride on the Cateye! I don't understand as to why the PP would need a stronger signal to function as compared to the computer....
Thank you.
Thank you.

First ride...Need feedback.
Hi, This is my first ride with the PP. Did calibration as described in the instructions. And then an "out and back" ride....Power was all over the place...I could not get a somewhat steady reading at all! Attached is my IBR file... Please let me know if there is something I need to tweak. ...

Unable to pair with Cateye Stealth Evo +
Hi, I can't seem to pair the unit with Cateye Stealth Evo + Here is what I did... 1. I clicked on the PP. The LED turned red. 2. I then chose the PW1 option on the Cateye and hit the sync option. The Cateye keeps searching but cannot find the pod. Am I doing anything wrong? Please see attachments......

BLE/ANT+ PowerPod
Hi, Just a question out of curiosity....Why does the BLE/ANT+ pod still relies on ANT+ speed and cadence sensor for collecting data and not just a Bluetooth only speed and cadence sensor? Is it because Bluetooth has a limitation wherein it can only transmit data to one Master and not multiple? Thank...

PowerPod with Cateye Stealth Evo Plus
Hi, This may be a repeat as I already sent an email to support about my questions... 1. How does the Heart Rate sensor pairing work with the Power Pod? I have an ANT+ wrist based optical heart rate sensor made by MioLink. Works perfectly with the Cateye Evo Plus. Do I need to pair the MioLink with t...
