Aeropod turns off in long descends

Problem: in long downhills if I do not pedal the AP seems to turn itself off. In the ride I attach had both the AP (as power meter) and the Garmin Vector 3. The Garmin headset had the Garmin visible. Of course the AP was turn on but not visible in the head set. This downhills is long (time wise) bec...

Re: Major firmware update for AeroPod

John, Thank you for the upgrade. I use the first 3 profiles of the aeropod as a powermeter without a DFPM and the Profile 4 with DFPM to evaluate CdA under different setups. Q: With this change am I going to have problems when I use profile 3 as power meter? Can you discuss profile 3 as a power mete...

Re: Aeropod IQ app?

John, It worked. What I had to do was to change the data field. I just press the CdA app on the screen then I change to another data field (I use Time) then few seconds alter I press again Time and replace it with the CdA app and this time worked. For some reason iirc I did the same thing when I use...

Aeropod IQ app?

Problem: does the IQ app works in the Aeropod when I am using the AP as a powermeter (Profile 1..3)? 1. The IQ app works very well when I am using the AP with DFPM and a speed sensor (#1)in profile 4 measuring all the items CdA, Wind etc. 2. Often I use the AP as a power meter, with another speed se...

Re: the first 5 minutes of any new ride are critical

> If you click its button the 12 minute "turn-off clock" is reset John, The PP is 20 minutes and I often reset it if I am in a break. Is this 12 minutes for the AP different or just a typo? Is 12 minutes when we are using Profile 4 and 20minutes for profiles 1,2, 3 or just 12 minutes for t...

Re: Aeropod and Pitot tube

Using the Garmin Vector 3, the numbers (watts) in a cross wind are basically the same as with the AP. Except for live CdA I do not have too much use of the Garmin, I just use the AP as my main power meter.

Aeropod and Pitot tube

I just got the two upgrades one for V3 and the other for Aeropod.
Q: is the pitot tube needed or mandatory for aeropod? I do not ride in the rain.

Thanks

V3 vs Aeropod upgrades ?

1. What is the pitot tube for? 2. If you do not use a DFPM is any difference between aeropod and V3? 3. Where do you see slope/wind/ etc that the PP/aeropod produce, phone only? or I can see it in my head unit (Garmin 830)? 4. Upgrade; if you send a PP working do I get 30% discount V3/aeropod? I hav...

John, The APS is not working and I just use isaac to setup the active profile when I change bikes and it works OK. I tryied to install the new firmware but 1. Each bike has its own speed sensor, cadence sensor and the same HR monitor (Helmet). If I decide to change the HR monitor I just press the ...
