Re: Power Pod Setup Ride
Should I do the calibration ride on gravel/dirt or pavement? I'll be riding both, but more gravel/dirt than pavement.

Re: Power Pod Setup Ride
I loaded the updated file and rode a mostly gravel route with some pavement too. Saw a lot of crazy numbers. Can you take a look at the attached file? Thanks.

Re: Power Pod Setup Ride
Thanks. Should I use that profile if riding mostly on dirt too? Or just let the profile as is for riding dirt? I thought I recalled Powerpod had an algorithm to detect between pavement and gravel on the fly.

Power Pod Setup Ride
Hi,
Attached is the file for my calibration ride. If you could take a look, I would appreciate it. Power seems to be very high. Thanks.

Speed on there is a little low, I forgot to stop the Garmin when I stopped.

Re: Very low power
No, it was a bit below 5 mph. I'm riding on snow. That I pack myself. It's very slow. I actually XC skied the same course a bit faster. So there's nothing wrong with my speed sensor.

Re: Very low power
Another ride today with the same results, very low power readings. I was really pushing today. No thoughts on why it's reading low? I had 1 good ride in the snow, but the last 2 have been way off.

Very low power
Using the PP on my fat bike in the snow again. I had really low power readings for the entire ride and I'm not sure why. It was a pretty tough ride, I would guess my NP would've been 180 or so, just from feel. I got a NP of 79. It was heavy snow and I was breaking trail the first lap through. Any id...

Crazy power readings for the first 5 minutes or so
Hello, Used the Powerpod on my fat bike today. I warmed up on the road for about 8-9 minutes and then hit the snow. I didn't have it synced to my computer, so I just downloaded the file from the PP. Approximately the first 5 minutes have crazy high power readings, spikes of 1800 watts and everything...

Powerpod Config and First Ride files
I just set up my PowerPod on a new road bike and thought I'd just post the config and first ride files to make sure everything looks good. There are actually 2 files from the time I did the initialization ride, so I posted both. Please take a look and see if everything looks ok.

Re: Anyone using PowerPod on a Fat Bike with any success?
That's great you found that. I look forward to getting that update. I am having an issue with my PowerPod losing pairing with my Garmin. As you suggested, I went out and got a magnet less speed sensor. I had to do another calibration ride. During the calibration ride, it got to about 50% and the lig...

Pairing a new speed sensor
How do I go about pairing a new speed sensor on an existing bike? Do I need to do a new calibration ride? Or will the Powerpod just pair to and use the new sensor?

Re: Anyone using PowerPod on a Fat Bike with any success?
I seem to have hosed something up. I went for a ride today, normal mountain bike terrain, fire roads, single track, etc. and was getting very crazy readings from the PowerPod. I have attached the file, if you could take a look and let me know what's up, I'd appreciate it. I modified the wheel size s...

Re: Anyone using PowerPod on a Fat Bike with any success?
Here are 2 files, the original and one that I did a Repair->Bad Tilt Calibration on for an hour cross race I did on my fat bike. It had varied terrain, rail trail, dirt, grass and a creek crossing that I rode. The power numbers were crazy high during the ride, I had just remounted the PowerPod and o...

Thanks. I didn't do another calibration ride after clearing up the brake/shifter cables. Should have thought of that. I will do that.

Re: Anyone using PowerPod on a Fat Bike with any success?
Ok, so I acquired a PowerPod to try out on my Fat Bike. I have used it for a couple of rides. The first couple, I think the cables may have been causing some airflow issues, but my last ride I zip tied them so that there should be smooth air hitting the PowerPod. I have attached the .ibr file from t...

Re: Anyone using PowerPod on a Fat Bike with any success?
I believe Ratman is referring to his issue with the iBike which was never resolved and is documented in this thread: http://www.ibikeforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=59&t=3157&p=19030#p19030 Is there a difference between the iBike's handling of on the fly corrections versus the PowerPod? That threa...

Anyone using PowerPod on a Fat Bike with any success?
Has anyone gotten the PowerPod setup for use on a Fat Bike? I talked to the PowerPod guys and they thought it would be doable, but I thought I would check to see if anyone was actually doing it. Thanks.
