Hi John,
Happy to report that PP and TrainerRoad communicate via an ant+ stick.
Just one question though; with the bike on the trainer and the front wheel on a block, does it matter if the bike (and thus, the PP) is not perfectly level?
Thanks!

PowerPod, Indoor Trainers and TrainerRoad
Hi John,
I have a Minoura MagTurbo Trainer, with 7 settings H,L, 1 - 5. I believe it has the 500gm flywheel.
No exact match on the list in Isaac, so which one? MAG 500/850 or the MAG500l-r?
Also, will PowerPod communicate with TrainerRoad?
Thanks.

Re: Quick Question re Power Button
Thanks for all the help. Another question, though. Rode yesterday (after a week off), battery fully charged, PP was not moved from its mount. Pressed power button, solid green. Set off - no power readings, pressed power button several times (discovered that I if moved my Edge 500 further forward on ...

Quick Question re Power Button
I did a ride recently and didn't keep track of the time of one rest stop, and as soon as we resumed the ride, no power numbers were being displayed so I assumed the PP had powered down. It did, so I had to pull over and turn on the PP -(the location of the power button is kind of hard to access when...

Re: Wind Scaling
Thanks John.
Just did the same out and back with the new profile you provided.
Looks okay, I guess...no comparison so I'll assume all is in order.
Got to do an ftp test soon...ugh

Thank you John. Just to be sure of the procedure, in Isaac:
1. Edit Profiles
2. Import the IBP File
3. Select it
4. Send to Device
5. Pop up window: Profile Set
All good?

Re: Wind Scaling
Hi John, here's my out and back ride file. Please note that the actual out and back (loops) began at around the 1.4km mark. I had to change the original route and restart the loops due to some traffic issues. However, from the 1.4km point to the end of the ride (same as starting point), it was a pre...

Re: Wind Scaling
Will do, thanks. Does riding around a loop (about 1km/loop) qualify as an out and back?

Solid green means the PP has paired with the sensors. See 4B to 4D

New user here and quite impressed with the PP over-all. This is my first foray into riding with power so I have no real basis of comparison, but what I can say is that the power numbers seem "legit" - they respond almost immediately to surges, coasting, climbs, descents, drafting, just rid...
