Why does profile show as unsaved?
I have a profile that is called: 07/07/2016 Scott TT Tweaked 16/08/2016 I have loaded this to my PowerPod. But when I look at the 'Set Active Profile' screen, the profile shows up as: Unsaved (O&B tweak) This makes me doubt that the profile has been loaded properly. I've tried resetting the prof...

Re: Feedback on mounts - moving between bikes
Hi John, Here is a ride file where I see the behaviour mentioned in #3 above. They are the same route. If you compare between miles 4 to 5.5 (average power 280 ish at a heart rate of 175 ish) with miles 12.5 to 13.5 (average power 200 ish heart rate of 177 ish), this is the behaviour I see all the t...

Feedback on mounts - moving between bikes
Hi, I wanted to share some of my recent experiences with PowerPod, which I hope will make it even better in the future. Overall I have really enjoyed using it and think it works well. One of the key features for me was to be able to easily move a power meter between bikes, since I have 3 that get ri...

Re: Setting up PowerPod on a second bike
I'd also like to know how to get PowerPod to go back to auto detecting after forcing the use of a profile

Same sensor on 2 profiles
Hi, I have a bike that I use both as a road bike and a TT bike. I understand from a previous question that for this bike I can have 2 profiles in Isaac that are linked to the same sensors on the bike. When I am riding this bike in road mode, I go to Isaac and set the correct profile to be active bef...

Re: UK users - what road surface setting do you use?
I think rolling resistance is quite a small component of power so I have left it on good asphalt (although it is far from good...)

Re: Calibration ride gives positive tilt value
I thought I should report back after updating my settings - I am grateful for the support. Things seem quite reasonable now so I am happy. But it has made for some interesting observations about physiology and psychology when riding with power measurements! I find that as the road slopes up, it's ea...

Re: Calibration ride gives positive tilt value
Ok, I have redone the calibration, and following that did an out and back ride. After analysing the out and back ride, this time I get a wind scaling number of 1.236. This seems quite low compared to 1.4 and I'm concerned this will result in low power readings on downhill. Does my out and back ride ...

Re: Calibration ride gives positive tilt value
Hi, I cannot load the profile onto the power pod as it says that a negative friction value is not permitted. Maybe that should have been my post title!

Re: Calibration ride gives positive tilt value
Also the original profile for my out and back ride, wind scaling was 1.3 not 1.4.
After analysis, Isaac recommends wind scaling of 1.1 and positive tilt

Calibration ride gives positive tilt value
Hi, I've been following some of the posts about getting a more accurate set of data with interest. It seems that using the factory settings get reasonable results for most people, but if you are willing to put some effort in, you can get more accuracy. I am definitely in that second group! My initia...
