anyway to forego the cal ride? Can I copy a good profile, and change the surface to gravel?
Of course, I could very easily be missing a simple step here... :0

change surface for ride
any way to change/update the surface for a ride? Profile is set to smooth asphalt, but want to change to gravel for a ride.

Re: Watts come up late?
Profile may be jacked up - but I’m thinking it has to do with switching bikes. Sat switched back to the other profile but the newton didn’t recognize it. Had to scan for sensors, which of course left my pervious profile active... Any way to check if my newton has APS? Of course I may not have got th...

Re: Watts come up late?
No bump I’m aware of - it was a second profile for a diff bike, and yes a solo ride, w/out the braking on the beginning of the ride.

crosswind
One of my curiosities about the Newton is how it calculates crosswind power. Here's a example from today. Here's a link to the ride on a gps: https://connect.garmin.com/modern/activity/2363833039 You can see the one short N/S leg and if you compare that to the Newton ride one can see a pretty nice c...

Re: Drafting
However, it's not asking - then showing that I drafted. At least in the graph it's showing I drafted.

Drafting
When downloading to Isaac, it used to ask "were you drafting", or some such. Now, it's quit asking and just assumes that I was. Where do I change this back @?

crosswind
Saturday did a east/west ride ( hdgs of 90°out 270° in ), wind was 190°-200°. It sure didn't appear that the power readings on the inbound leg matched what I thought was my output. At the end of the ride I rode about .5 mile south into the wind, just to get a comparison. I guess my basic question is...

At risk of beating a dead horse, is this the same issue why I can't upload from Isaac to Training Peaks?

Re: compensating for wind resistance
That would mean the estimate would be all 240 lb riders would have the same wind resistance. It sounds like a rider outside the norm would could benefit from down coast downs - is that correct?

compensating for wind resistance
Just curious how the iBike takes into account wind resistance of different sized riders. Not meaning weight - but width. IOW, if a rider is 23" wide @ the shoulders vs one 19" wide & they are both on a flat @ 20mph wouldn't the 23" rider be producing more watts to maintain that sp...
