Re: First impressions

OK, thanks. I'll keep that in mind. Of course I don't ride that often in these conditions (for one it's not that safe) but it can happen. With a route analysis of the ride I got reasonable results but during the ride I had figures shown were mostly nonsense. Yesterday I did an other ride in fair con...

Re: First impressions

Today I did my first real test and I must say it was a disappointment. I had done one ride after the calibration and everything seemed OK. Today I did a touring ride of about 85 km and after less than half an hour power readings were off. Conditions were not so good: rather foggy and cold but I thou...

Re: Update needed

One of these days I'll try to create a .pwx with my desktop from the original .ibr file that was created on my laptop. So we will be able to eliminate if it is the original file that creates a problem or the exported file.

Re: Update needed

No I haven't I have the latest update on both computers. What I had never tried, but did just now is to upload from my desktop (W10) to TreainingPeaks a .pwx file that was created with my laptop (W8.1). It uploaded fine. So there must be something with the creation of the .pwx file on my desktop (W1...

Server is back up.
No it isn't. Like I wrote, useless. I did a ride on Wednesday, nothing. I did a ride on Thursday, nothing. I did a ride today, still nothing.
I'm already regretting I backed the Aeropod.

Update needed

In an other forum I wrote: Off topic: could you update Isaac. Merging doesn't work with I file generated by the Edge 1030 (I bought it recently and before used an Edge 800). I have to use a workaround and download the file from Garmin Connect before I can merge it. There is a second issue with the p...

Re: Server down!!!

I do thank you for the feedback. I knew all you explained above but of course it may be useful to others. For me, as I wrote before, it's even more annoying that the next time I start the app I will have to wait, because I have merged the file by know with my Garmin file. Off topic: could you update...

Re: Server down!!!

For the second time this week it is down! Really, your server isn't functional for about 5% of the time and that's too often in my opinion. And I know all of your explanations that I don't lose data and will be able to get it later. Well, I don't want it any more later. It's bothering me that it wan...

Re: Server down?

For the second week in a row I noticed that the server is down. I'm sorry but it's just unreliable.
Worst of all is that next time I want to do a ride I loose time at the start because the app wants to upload my ride of today. Since I will have no data connection at that time, this is useless.

Re: Server down?

Is the server down again? I cannot upload my data.
I have just ordered 2 new keys (at a very low price, I admit) because my backer PowerPods are both broken and I got me 2 new ones. I must say that I'm hesitating if I was right ordering 2 new keys.

Re: NT server is down

NOTICE: as of the evening of July 7, the NT server is down. The support guy is on vacation, so server won't be available until July 11. Keep riding with your NT app, and after the server is fixed you will be able to add GPS data to your PowerPod/Newton rides Same story as last year. :(

Re: Newton Tracker sync problem

OK, I accept your answer. I don't know about previous years since I bought my iBike Newton at the end of November last year. I haven't really counted, but I think that 10 days is a low estimation. Moreover, the vast majority of these days were the last 2 months, hence my frustration and my question....

Re: Newton Tracker sync problem

Your apologies are accepted, but maybe this isn't enough any more. The app may be free, the newton tracker option isn't.
So I'm asking clearly, what kind of reliability can we expect for our money? I'm aware that 100% is not possible at that rate, but since my first post it dropped far below.
