Suggestion: Multiple rides per email
I know, as always, the worker bees are buzzing around the Velocomp world headquarters. So I hate to sound like "Gee you nothing better to do, so how 'bout this . . ." But I have a suggestion for a new feature for the iBike app. How 'bout a "Send All Unsent Rides" button on the &q...

Re: iBike Dash Conversion Kit
Granted, but it still begs the question - what exactly is in the kit? Is it $28 for foam strips?

Re: iBike Dash Conversion Kit
This must be an incredibly stupid and painfully obvious question as no one has answered it. However I didn't think it was a hard question to answer. My iPhone 4 is really hard to get out of the Dash, so I'm not sure I have the right inserts and I don't have the others. So I was just trying to find o...

So what exactly is in the iBike Dash Conversion Kit? Just curious what I get for $28.00.

Re: Auto shut-off not
I realize this is probably considered a dead thread as it was nearly 9 months since my original post, but my iAero (Gen III, FWv4.2) continues to have problems not shutting off either automatically or manually. Happened again, twice this week. The dead batteries are piling up. Any solutions other th...

Re: Some key features of the iBike Dash
John, I just ran a TT yesterday and that sparked another question: Will you consider a TT-specific mount that extends the iDash closer to the hands when on the aero bars? It'd be helpful to be able to check the numbers by just glancing down instead of looking back at the stem. I won my race yesterd...

Re: Some key features of the iBike Dash
Despite living in a warm, dry climate, I ride a lot with long fingered gloves and my iPhone in a plastic ziplock bag in my jersey pocket. On the rare occasion that I stop and look at my phone, it is sorta hit and miss as whether the touch screen will sense my finger movements with the gloves on, eve...

Re: Wrong speed shown on display
I've mounted the speed sensor the exact way I had it before when I had no such issues. Also, if it was picking up the cadence magnet, it would be reading high velocities all the time. To get an average of 56.2 it would have to constantly be reading in the 50's, but the displayed speed was correct. J...

Wrong speed shown on display
I recently got a new speed sensor due to water getting into the old one. On two occasions since installing the new sensor, I've gone on rides where the max & average speed was insanely high on the head unit display. For example today I averaged 56.2 mph with a max 60.5 mph and covered 126 miles ...

Re: Auto shut-off not
Thanks for the reply rcmaps. As indicated in the original post, shutting off from the BATT screen does not work either. So the hard reset is the only option at this point.

Re: Auto shut-off not
John- This definitely works. However, it has happened three times since my original post. Since I don't realzie that it hasn't shut off until I go out the next morning and see that it is already on, I can't say if there is any "trigger" for this behavior. This last time, I had downloaded a...

Re: Speed sensor not working
Thanks John. I figured as much but thought I'd ask. The least the sensor could've done was put on a spark show as it died. Alas, no such luck.

Speed sensor not working
Hey all- Long story short: during a recent and rare ride in the rain, water got into my speed sensor (broken o-ring) and it isn't working. I've tried some of the usual solutions posted in other parts of the forum (drying it out, installing the battery in reverse, doing the jitterbug, etc) and it sti...

Auto shut-off not
Hey all- Anyone else having an issue with the auto shut-off feature not shutting off the head unit (iAero Gen III)? This has happened a couple of time to me and I've burn through some batteries as a result. This hasn't happened yet with 4.04. In addition to this and on a couple other separate occasi...

Custom TT mount
Hey all- Like some other iBike users, I was unhappy with the the Topeak Xtender setup. So I worked on a mount for the end of my aero extensions. Long story short, it just didn't work. Enter the iBike Remote Wind Sensor. However, I at the time I was using an uber short 50 mm stem, too short for a ste...
