post ride
I have been reading past posts about post ride auto-adjustment. I always acclimate my I-bike to current temp. and do the wind offset in the garage. To my understanding I should not have to adjust anything after the ride. Is my assumption correct? The question arised from recent rides were my perciev...

flipping stem
I just flipped my stem over to give it a rise. Do I need to redo my calibration rides or just the tilt?

Re: New wireless signal
Yes, I changed the speed sensor battery. I paired the sensors and went for a ride. The next day I dumped the previous ride when I got the prompt and now I have lost the sensors.

Maybe wearing it backwards or buying tighter cloths would be a better solution.

Re: Heart Rate jumps
I had recently changed a battery and when I replaced the cap the o-ring did not seat right and stuck out beyond the cap. I did not notice and went for a ride. My heart rate would go from 140 to 230 for no reason. When I replaced the o-ring the problem stopped. I think either sweat or static electric...

Re: Power/heart rate conversion
I will give the book a shot. Today I wet for a ride that was supposed to be some LT intervals. I noticed on the ride out that my percieved effort was kind of high for a zone 2 heart rate, sure enough I looked at my wattage and it was very low. A half hour later I was bonked. I need to get off the he...

Power/heart rate conversion
I currently train by heart rate zones. The more I use the ibike the more I realize my heart rate drifts all over the place. Is there a conversion chart or formula that I can use that simply switches heart rate (zones 1,2,3,4,5) to power zones? I tried to watch my power to heart rate coorelation but ...

Thanks for the response John and Richard. Everyone else, If you look at my past posts you will see I have praised their customer support many times. John, that was my second email and I never recieved a reply. It must have got lost in spam controls or something. I'm patient and don't mind waiting, j...

getting annoyed!
I have e-mailed two different people ( John & Richard) and have had no response. I have been waiting a month and now I will try it this way. I need to buy the bottom part of the mount bracket. I have one that snapped. On another subject...does the Garmin 305 sensors and strap work when "G&q...

Re: 2ND CDA
Okay, I get the 2nd CDA. Is there a big enough power difference between riding in the drops and the hoods to concern myself with? I rotate between the two constantly and it would be a nightmare trying to figure that out.

How are you all posting your tilt screens? I can copy and put it in another file, but can't get it to recognize on this forum. I would like to post some up to see if they look realistic.

Re: iBike within wireless mount have play
Hey Kevin.. Lets hook up for a ride here soon! Maybe we can talk to the other two other ibike riders (Steve & Robert) to go along. We will probably have to wait on Robert "The half Watt" every now and then. We all live or work in Sugar Land. We can all download and compare ibike data ....

I have 1.16. Its just one of those things that happens with sophisticated equipment. I talked to John H. and he is replacing the whole unit. Still cant beat ibikes customer service.

Does anyone know why my ibike thinks it is at 28000 ft? I live at sea level! Several attempts to reset it has failed. As soon as you exit from set up it defaults back to 28000 ft. Unless there has been a major geological event I am at 120 ft in the texas swamps.

Re: coast down values
Chubby? You mean my Jan Ulrich type thighs? The friction was my concern. The profile for the Bianchi has the same friction value(.4), but the Kuoat profile ends up with twice the friction(.8).

coast down values
I just did 15 coast downs and a 4 mile ride. I came up with Aero .280, CDA .322, Fric. 8.125 and Crr .0062. This is my 3rd attempt due to weather to get a good profile. Do these look reasonable for riding in the hoods with 140 psi 700x23 tires?

CRR
I set up an additional profile for a second bike. The winds were a little gusty, but the road was smooth and flat. When I use the profile I seem to get a high wattage. The only thing I see possibly out of norm is a CRR 0f 00.0121. Is this high for 700x23 and total rider weight of 185.
