Ibike rides folder where all ride files are stored does not recognize new folders created under the ibike rides.
If you are a bike coach, you may like to create each rider folder and sort ride files out accordingly.

Re: are CdA and Crr co-related?
Hi, Now I got some idea on setting profile up for mtb. Please look at the title of my post, "Are CdA and Crr co-related?" ! In this regard, "racerfern" gave me a clear cut answer, explaining with total drag. that was exactly what i was looking for. it is fine with me to use ibike...

iSport works with Garmin edge 800?
Hi,
I have an interesting question from someone.
Can garimin edge 800 read power data from isport with gt firmware enabled?
I guess it is not possible without wireless mount, right?

And how did you determine your Crr?
Did you do actual coast downs on a streach of dirt road?

Thanks,
On dirt road, right?
What was the range of Crr on the Paved Road with your MTB?

Re: are CdA and Crr co-related?
Thanks, everyone! I try to set a practical guideline of profiles for MTB. IBike on MTB will be used to measure power on the paved road as well as dirt road. Therefore, I should have two profiles accounted for each case. I found out that the Fast Start is not designed for setting MTB up, especially i...

are CdA and Crr co-related?
I plan to do coast downs on the paved road. First set of coast downs will be done with regular procedure. This may prodece cda=0.356 and crr= 0.0040. And second set of coast downs will be performed with fixed crr 0.0080. In this case, what value of cda can I expect? Will cda with 0.0080 be the same ...

estimated friction in setup
When estimated frictional coefficient is entered under racer sequence in setup,
Does it alter the profile stored in ibike or intact?
In order words, when the est fric is set to no again,
Will ibike use the original profile?

fast start for mtb
I would like to use ibike to my mtb mainly for training on the paved road. I will be training on smooth asphalt surface with suspension lockout. Of course, wheel circumference should be changed to that of mtb wheel. And I guess estimated Crr also be increased to consider higher friction than that of...

unit screen desired in setup mode
It seems the unit screen disappeared in setup mode. I use english unit most of the time. But sometimes I need to change to metric to do field tests, Such as 5 km all out test. Some important field tests are designed as km rather than mile. Right now it is impossible to change it in the field. To cha...

fast start improves cda and crr?
Fast start estimate CdA and Crr. Tilt Cal improves CdA and Crr according to manual. How does til cal improve cda and crr? I know that riding tilt and wind scaling factor are used to calculate power in real time in the unit. How about the improved cda and crr? Are these factored into power calculatio...

wind scaling
Recently I did cal ride and coastdowns with gen 3. And analyzed with issac.
But somewhat wind scaling factor is huge like 1.9 something.
It was calm and perfect day for calibration.
Is wind scaling acceptable?

Re: Trouble pairing sensors
Probably, the powermeter does not sit properly on the wireless mount. Please place the powermeter at 10 o’clock position over the mount and put it down and turn it clockwise until you hear a clicking sound. And see the backside of the powermeter and draw a imaginary cross line to see alignment with ...

Re: Intervals on iPro
I am also longing for the "Custom Interval" for iPro. In my opinion, "Custom Interval" is far better than the preset format. For instance, let’s say, in the Bicycling Magazine, the former Lance Armstrong coach, Chris Carmichael recommends a set of interval training to improve VO2...
