Re: iDash v1.0.23 email issue
Your iphone needs to have an email account set up to send email. Do you have an email account set up on your phone? (Under Settings -> Mail, Contacts,Calendars -> Accounts) If you don't have an email account set on your device, then there's no way to send the email even if you have the email address...

Re: Newton Tracker Freeze
Hi Paul,
Rebooting the phone was actually going to be my suggestion. I've seen this sort of behavior in apps from other companies as well in the past and the first thing I always try is a phone reboot. More often than not, it clears up the issue.
Chris.

Re: Deleting Bad Data on Coach app
Hi, To delete a ride from your list of rides, simply start with your finger on the right side of the phone and swipe to the left across the ride you'd like to delete. A red "Delete" button should appear. If you tap on the delete button, the ride should go away. Are you using bike sensors (...

Re: Lost all data after crash ibike
I have just completed a second test where I let my phone go completely dead during a ride and I still have not been able to duplicate your crash. I am convinced that this must have something to do with the internal ride database being in the middle of an update or save operation when the iPhone batt...

Re: Lost all data after crash ibike
Hello, Is this the same crash you reported before when the iPhone battery goes to zero? I have been trying to duplicate that issue and I have not been able to get my phone into a state where it looses all the data and/or crashes when the battery gets low. How long of a ride had been recorded before ...

Re: iBike Newton data management
Hello, This is certainly something we can entertain for the next product. However, the current file system would have to be completely gutted and re-written to support this sort of interface. The system we currently have dates back to the very first iBike power meter introduced several years ago and...

Re: ibike GPS+ stops reading/recording
If you stop the ride and re-start it, does it start working again? I'm trying to understand if it is a problem where you only can ever record the first mile or so on every ride, or if the sensors just stopped working all together.

Re: ibike dash+power crashes
I have checked the apple crash logs for the iBike app and I have not seen any reported that would pertain to your crash. If an app crashes on your iPhone, when you sync with iTunes, a crash report should get copied from your phone to your computer. If you could send that crash report to me, I may be...

Re: Sensors connect but in ride say not connected
Hi Brad, In order to help you with this, I need to know exactly what app you are using and what sensors you are using. We have several apps and two different types of sensors (ANT+ and Bluetooth Smart Sensors) that are used with out products. If you could tell me the name of the app under the icon y...

Re: iBike import to Strava not grouping with other riders
Hi Robert, I double checked things and it is as I thought. The Newton Time/Date should be getting set by Isaac every time you connect and download ride files. You can also force the time/date to be set through Isaac through the menus. So, just to make sure your rides get grouped, please make sure yo...

Re: Strava upload issues
It is not clear from your post that you've tried the "logout" and log back in workaround for this issue. Did you go back to the settings in the powerhouse app, select Strava, click on the "Logout" button, then log back into Strava using your username and password? Was the login s...

Re: Zero Torque With Ibike
Hi Mike, I used to have the word "idle" displayed in the bottom display instead of the number as in indication that you needed to press up or down to actually start the process. This was years ago. It was decided to display the flashing number instead to try to relate information about the...

Re: Zero Torque With Ibike
The PCal command is used to trigger the calibration in DFPM sensors that are paired with the Newton. This command will only be available in the Setup menu of the Newton if a DFPM sensor is currently paired with the Newton. Use the following steps to perform the DFPM Sensor Calibration: 1. Stop the b...

I am currently coordinating with the manual writer to get the documentation updated to include information about the PCal command. Hopefully, the online manual will be updated soon.

Re: iBike import to Strava not grouping with other riders
Hi Robert, The ride time set in the Newton is based on the time that is set in the Newton. It is my understanding that whenever you connect your Newton to Isaac, the time of the Newton is set to the current time of you PC, but I will have to double check this. One of two things could be at play here...

Re: Zero Torque With Ibike
There is a command in the Setup Screens called "PCal". When you are paired with the powertap, you should be able to use that command to zero the torque. When you use this command to zero the torque, the bike should not be moving and you should not have your feet on the pedals.

Re: ibike dash+power crashes
You could try a Reset to see if it clears up the problem. If you try to uninstall and reinstall the app, you WILL lose your data. So, I would not recommend it at this time. Have you successfully used the app to email yourself ride data before? I'm just trying to figure out if this is a problem uniqu...
