Re: Pairing PowerPod with DFPM for cadence data
I know that his is responding to an old post but I have just installed a Rival AXS Power crank on the same bike as my PowerPod v5. Is it still the case that PowerPod loaded with the PowerStroke Key would not be able to use the crank cadence as a sensor?

Re: Velocomp Aero software for Mac
Apparently 4 times is a charm. So it is now connected to VA. Weirdly 49% of memory is used but none of my rides for the past 2 years is on the device..
Either way. I guess I will have to do a cal ride now according to the on-screen instructions. Is that correct?

Re: Velocomp Aero software for Mac
John, Sorry for the confusing statement... I have tried to add screen shots but have been unsuccessful I guess I meant to say Isaac. Within Isaac and VA, Device->Setup Device->yields no result if I follow the instructions to Connect the PowerPod and turn it on. Within Isaac, if I follow Device-> Con...

Re: Velocomp Aero software for Mac
I am now able to connect to the device using Device>Connect>Dropdown to usb port. There is confirmation message saying that the device is connected, but the USB icon does not turn green and the only ride shown is the demo

Re: Velocomp Aero software for Mac
Able to download the Universal Aero software. SiLabs installation was completed. Connected the PowerPod V5 via USB-c to micro-usb cable. Still not able to see the PowerPod in the software. Running M1 iMac with macOS 14.5.

CdA from PP v4
Is it possible to have the PP v4 function like a CdA sensor if paired with a DFPM. Have option to acquire the Rival AXS crank with single leg spindle DFPM. Only thing I think I can gain is the CdA reporting

Wind reading
The Newton+ used to display the wind speed on its display. Is there anything equivalent with the PowerPod delivering it to a GPS?

Wind profile seems to be off
New PowerPod V3. Did cal ride and then today went on 40 mile ride but something seems off about the wind data. I know that I had some headwind although not much but the ride file shows a tailwind for nearly the entire ride. How can this be corrected? Another cal ride can it be adjusted in the file i...

Newton 5 not connecting to Isaac
Despite a hard reset(actually 2), changing USB cables, changing USB ports, quitting and restarting Isaac(twice), shutting down and restarting my Mac, my Newton does not want to connect to Isaac and as such I am unable to do anything with the data on the device. Let me add that I installed Isaac on a...

Re: Tailwind error?
John,
Thanks for the updated profile. I am not sure what or how you did it but I appreciate. Was is something that I did when I set the Newton up or calibrated it?

Tailwind error?
John, I seem to have a problem with the way that my power readings are being generated. In the file below is a ride home from work and you will see that there is a consistent tailwind recorded that I know for a fact was not there during the ride. I had times where I had as much perceived effort of o...

Clear odometer
I mentioned to Velocomp that there was some information on my Newton+ when I received it and he explained about some units having test rides on them. How do I go about getting the odometer zeroed out so I will only be recording my ride distances?
Thanks for the help.
