New TT mount options
Could the new TT mount be used on road bars in a setup similar to the Garmin Barfly to extend the unit past the front of the bars? It does not look like you could rotate the mount as needed based on the pics but it is hard to tell. My handlebars get pretty busy: Garmin 810, light, and Newton and I w...

'14 data error' message
The last two rides with the Newton, I have gotten unrealistic and incorrect wind speed measurements which has led to erroneous power readings. Cadence, speed, distance, etc. seem to be correct and functioning. Another strange reading is the battery reading. It says 0% but unit is powered up and has ...

Re: Power readout and dropping an ANT+ sensor (on purpose)
Thank you for the quick response. I tried as you suggested (I think) but it would not allow me to edit the profile. I went to: Edit/Edit Profiles/Wireless IDs I tried to unselect the Power IN ID button (green) and/or to eleminate the values in the ID and Type fields but it just repopulates with the ...

Power readout and dropping an ANT+ sensor (on purpose)
I have two related questions. 1. If you pair a power meter to the Newton, what does the Newton display during the ride as the power? Is it the Newton power values or the paired DFPM? I want to see the Newton values only but would still like to have the Newton record the DFPM values for later analysi...

Power data discrepancy in Training Peaks
Just got my Newton recently. I uploaded an exported Newton ride file (.csv) to TP following their procedure. I loaded fine but all the power metrics were off by a considerable margin. Ride averages and shorter segments did not match up. The general trends were consistent however. In a segment of 10 ...

Strange calibration?
I just got my Newton, updated to the most recent Isaac and OS before use. I went out to do the cal ride. It started fine and I rode as prescribed for five minutes, stopped, turned around to head back and the unit flashed that it was calibrated almost as soon as I turned around. I thought it would be...

Newton vs DFPM
I have been on the fence for a while about whether to invest in an iBike or DFPM (Powertap). I have used a PT in the past with success but currently my financial situation as well as the fact that I currently love my wheelset (Mavic Carbone SR) which I like to use for everyday riding has really made...
