Selling gen II...what price can I expect?
Loving my gen III iAero. I'm going to sell my gen II wired with cadence on ebay or craigslist. Just wondering if any of you have any advice on how much I should ask. Will sell with wired with cadence handlebar mount. Has trainer function unlocked. Lacks usb adapter. (still using it with IAero.) The ...

Re: PT Pro+ Power Display Fluctuations
I have to agree with Norm. Power, HR, and Cadence, non-alternating would be great as those are how most workouts are prescribed by coaches and training books.

Also a level 2! One of my favorite aspects of power training is the accurate report of calories burned which is so helpful in weight loss. Power training is very useful for recreational cyclists as well! I use the free site calorie count http://caloriecount.about.com/ to track my food intake and add...

Longest 20 minutes of my life!
So the evolution of my fitness testing goes back to the "CTS" field test in the Chris Carmicheal books. He recommends in his book Ultimate Ride a 3 mile time trial to find heart rate ranges or power ranges. 3 miles is like 7-8 minutes all out for me. He recommends doing two. For power rang...

Re: New Features in firmware 3.08
Does this mean the firmware will be available tomorrow? I've been waiting for my IAero to ship and all shipments have been waiting for the new firmware. Enough teasing...Bring it!! :D I'm really looking forward to dialing in my training! My trusty Gen II is great but c'mon!! Also...will the Ibike so...

BTW...I change the battery before every winter ride. Question: Does it help to go to 5 second recording interval in the winter?

Re: Battery Life?
You all are making me wonder if I have a bad batch of batteries. (purchased in bulk from Velocomp) I'm getting an hour of battery life if I'm lucky in 40 degree weather. I changed the battery in my wireless mount to see if that would help. Didn't really.

Re: The cold
I have to say the cold demising batteries is a frustrating issue. Does it help in the cold to go to a 5 second recording interval? I run a wireless setup and am quickly going through a 20 pack of batteries from Velocomp. I'm only getting about an hour of reliable readings on my gen III and I live in...

Re: Intervals on iPro
I agree with bringing back custom intervals. I LOVE the fitness test though, especially if you are using Training Peaks, along with the book Training and Racing with a Power Meter by Allen and Coggan. A built in FTP test is awesome. A cool feature of the fitness test is the average watts displayed w...

Re: Trainer Accuracy
I was just wondering how many of you do a separate FTP test, or fitness test (awesome gen III feature!) to establish training zones for training on your indoor trainer. I have a Fluid 2 and the numbers match up pretty well, but it seems an indoor test would be worth it for super accurate numbers dur...
