Does the iBike Newton twist on just as the ibikeIII does? If it does could I just take the battery out and use the stem mount since the wireless senors are now in the new iBike Newton? I already have it set up and would prefer to keep it mounted on the stem. I don't really like the new steerer mount...

Howard, I had a similar problem with a mount ,that for some reason, would kill the battery in 2 days without even being used. Luckily mine was still under warranty but if your mount is using up the battery it will need to be repalced because there is no fix for this problem.
