New to PP; could you check my calibration and data please

Post by JDRJared »

Hi John, thanks for approving my membership to the forum. I was wondering if you could take a moment to check the data of my out/back calibration and a couple of rides from yesterday and today. Despite being careful to locate the powerpod to the correct position earlier I believe the it carried out another calibration for the first 8 minutes(?) of my ride today as the figures were high for a short while before settling. Being totally new to power analysis I'm not entirely sure whether it all seems accurate or not, but there have been occasions whereby i've thought the feedback seemed a little lower than my perceived exertion.
Any help much appreciated
All the best, Jared

1) Your PP recalibrated itself during the first 8 minutes

2) Your PP calibration is GREAT otherwise

3) There are speed spikes in your ride file which are problematic. Make sure your sensor is on the front hub. If you're using a Wahoo sensor, we find their quality is not very good.

Okay good stuff, glad to have a professional opinion. I'll get the speed sensor replaced with a Garmin or something then, as it is currently a wahoo on the front wheel.
Thanks for reporting back John
