Any tweaks necessary?

Post by beermat »

Hi,

This is my third and longest ride with PP and I would like to check if the unit is dialled in or if any further tweaks are necessary?

Also, I have a few questions about some settings:

1. I have power smoothing set to 0 on the PP. Should I change this to dynamic?
2. Which graph do I use for wasted power and how do I read this?
3. Is there a way of showing temperature as Celsius?
4. I press check calibration on this ride and Isaac showed that there are some insignificant changes available. Should I accept these? Is it necessary to check calibration after each ride?

Thanks.

1. With PP smoothing set to "0" your Bike Computer is doing all the smoothing. If you're happy with what you are seeing on your bike computer screen there is no reason to change PP settings. Ppt setting does not affect the downloaded ride file.

2. You need to purchase the Powerstroke option. After you do your wasted watts and power stroke will be recorded on subsequent ride files

3. In the upper right corner of the main window, set units to metric

4. I would leave your ride file alone. It looks fine. No, you should not do a check calibration after each ride. Once your unit is dialed in (yours is) just ride...
