Using Isaac to install Profiles on your PowerPod or Newton

If you want to install a modified profile on to your PowerPod or Newton device (say, for example, because a profile has been attached to a forum posting, or because a profile has been emailed to you), here is how to import and transfer a profile to your Device:

1) place the ".ibp" profile attachment on to your computer's desktop. You will see a file with the name "x.ibp" on your desktop ("x" is the specific name of the profile you've been sent; ".ibp" identifies it as a profile file. In this example, the file name is "Imported Profile.ibp"

2) Attach your PowerPod or Newton ("device") to Isaac

3) In Isaac go to "Edit/Edit Profiles...". In the example below, the profile that happens to be active is "Robin..." Your active Profile name will be different.

4) In the Edit Profiles window that appears, click the ""Import" button

5) Navigate to the profile you've placed on your desktop (in this example, called "Imported Profile"), select it, then click the "OK" button to transfer it into Isaac:

6) A message will appear confirming that the profile was imported

7) The profile you have added will now appear in your Edit Profile window, and will be highlighted, to show that it is active:

8) Then, click the "Send to Device*" button to transfer the profile to your Device:

9) A confirming message will appear, and your selected profile will now be active in your Device:
