customizable?

Post by Brandy »

A few features I believe were originally advertised (first release of iDash + Power) we are still waiting for...

1) fully customized power workouts we create for each ride
2) navigation cues for a pre-planned route. I believe Garmin has this feature.

Any word John on when we might expect to see these??

Also, have you had any conversations with your graphic designer to make "whiter whites" for numbers? I'm sure you have see the number of posts regarding difficulty seeing numbers in outdoor riding conditions...

- b

And of course, these early advertisements could have all been in my imagination....

#1 and #2 are in the works.

There is no such thing as a "whiter white", except in laundry commercials...

Hi, do you have any date to the update and also do you will turn idash in a real gps like garmin.
It will be possible to get a strava upload in the ibike app update?
There are just the two thing who are missing to ibike app to transform this app in a powerfull app!!!!
About the gps motion, a configurable trace, map zoom an orientation an upload map option will be essential.
You will boost the sell in france cause the ibike dash begin to be sell by a lot of good shop but the app is to lite for vtt bicycling.
Thanks for your good job!!!!

Strava compatibility with the iBike app is available right now. Using your iBike software, export your ride file in csv format. The csv format can be read by Strava.

At some point in the future we will add direct Stava upload-from-iBike-app capacity.

We are working on a solution now that will make route creating and sharing possible.

If you use the map screen (touch Map icon in top right corner of iBike app) you'll find that maps can be expanded.

Future Wish list.

Support for a direct iBike App to Strava, TrainingPeaks, Facebook, dailymile, mapmyride, garmin connect, etc would be great.

Route creation or GPX route import would also be great.

Software development cycle never seems to end. :)

The profanity has been removed from your posting. We do not permit it.

The update we just made benefits every potential user of the iBike Coach app.

The bug you are describing has been reported only by one user.

We will fix this bug but please be aware that a positive tone is very motivating to us.

We are also working on mapmyride route uploads.

I noticed that Strava bug myself as I used coach for a social ride and I wanted to post the route. I needed a GPX file so I uploaded to Strava then used strava to generate the GPX file but I noticed that the numbers didn't match what Coach had so I abandoned that idea. I like the mapmyride upload idea and if you could add a email GPX file feature this would help tremendously. I love using the Dash for my training but for social rides the Coach works just fine, but there is no way for me to extract the data and publish it.

Keep up the good work!

We are working very hard right now on getting two new products, the iBike Newton, and the iBike POWERHOUSE, ready to ship. We will get to other features and bugs after our two new products ship.

I RGA, with ibike apps, you can export by email your ride, open it with ibike windows software. there is an option to export in gpx file format so i success to use it with strava. It is not easy way but... Perhaps we will have soon a update with a real gps trace road and and a possibility to import export gpx roadbook in ibike apps. It is the last bad point of ibike product.
The timezone bug with strave continu again with this methode also.

HiVELOCOMP, what about the update? Have you finnish to ship your new product. I don't know how to say it in english but have you time for your clients and not only for your futur clients? I buy you product a few mount ago an i have allways the same bug you didnt have time to fix. I understand you whant to take care about your future clients but your clients are importante to cause they will make you BAD or GOOD publicity and you will get or not new clients easyly or not.
Thanks for you jobs!!

I velocomp , may you give an ETA for the appel validation status for your update.
Also, it will be very smart to update the statusbar battery.
You know you can add color on battery png to have per exemple: a green png battery when is charging, a blue png battery when charging are out( accessorie battery is discharge!)
Like that we can charge instantly the accessories battery when it empty and increase power for the remplacement battery life.
It is difficulte to to explain better in english but if you didn't understood, i will try to re explaine better.
