I think the ride is OK. There is one short section, near the 36 mile mark, where you are not drafting. In that section your wind speed looks like it is properly calibrated.

Since you're drafting, strong headwinds are being fought by the cyclists riding ahead of you.

Hi John,

Thanks for looking. You actually identified the exact time period I had a question about because at slightly over 36 miles I took a turn on the front for the next 2 miles or so and I was almost directly in the wind the whole time yet it appears as no to little headwind?? it was blowing pretty hard the whole return but that section was just me in front against the wind.

To check calibration you'll need to do a short out and back ride, no drafting. Please post that ride file and I will take a look.

Hi John,
Here is an out and back but I just now noticed you said "short ride". Will this work?

Your calibration is close but (assuming this is a road bike) your rolling resistance is way too high.

I've corrected your profile and ride.

This should work well for you.

Thanks John. Those settings came from a cal ride I did in mid August. Why would it be so off after a cal ride?
Thanks for tweaking.

Your cal ride was pretty close. The mystery is how your Crr got to be too high. I cannot explain this.
