Zero Wind?

Post by rafaelnajera »

Hi,

Today I went for a ride and something strange happened: twice power was close to zero for a few seconds when I surely was pushing on the pedals with non-negligible effort.

Looking in Isaac I see that in those two ocassions wind was zero (see around 14:30 for 30 seconds, and 20:50 again for around 30 seconds). For sure there was some tailwind, but it didn't feel as though I could do zero effort to keep moving at 23km/h. Should I worry about any problem with the sensor?

It was very gusty today (and hot!!), and for the rest of the ride I think PP measured everything correctly.

Thanks,

Rafael.

Were you riding in any kind of rain or mist? Is your wind sensor blocked in any way?

It was a clear day, no rain, no mist. Nothing is blocking the sensor.

Thanks,

Rafael.

Hmm...something may be amiss. Please email technicalsupport@velocomp.com with your ride file, and for next steps.
