O&B calibration

Post by raider »

Hi John,
I just received my PP Lite last week and I already started to play with all the options (even the lite version has a ton of features). I did the pairing of my sensors, but my HRM is not being detected, even after several tries. Anyway, after the calibration I went for a ride and the values looked ok (compared with my Indoor Tacx), but I wanted to use the Analyze/Check Calibration function and today I did that (as normal ride, because the O&B are not saved). After my ride, I run check calibration (after splitting the file to match the same start point) and it estimated different values (noticeable change). Should I use those or is better to stay with the default O&B and not use the check calibration function?

Thank you!

Your ride files look fine!

I would leave everything just where it is.

Hi John,
Any idea why the HRM is not pairing? Should I add the HRM ID to the profile manually?

Thanks

Your profile shows that your HR strap is not paired to PP.

Do the following:

1) Wake up all your sensors, including your HR strap

2) With your bike computer, confirm that all your sensors are awake

3) Pair PP to your sensors.

4) Connect PP to Isaac, and in Edit/Edit Profiles/Wireless IDs confirm that there is a non-zero HR ID

5) You have 641 installed, so after this pairing you will have to do another O&B cal ride...a small price to pay! :-)
