Question about calibration after handlebar position change

Post by mejulie69 »

I've just changed the position of my handlebars and whilst I have tried to keep the same angle on the PP, inevitably the angle will have changed a tiny bit. Do I need to force a recalibration or will it recalibrate itself? If it recallibrates itself, does it keep the new calibration or does it revert back to original calibration each time?

Thanks.

I'm interested in an answer to this question as well. I would LOVE to know if there is a way to correct for a tilt that changed without having to do another calibration ride. Why? Because I have painstakingly used a powermeter to tweak the settings of the current profile and I don't want to start all over with a new one.

Thanks!

If the only thing that has changed about your setup is the angle of your PP, you do NOT have to perform a new calibration. PP will figure things out, and at the end of the ride it will memorize the corrected angle.
