Top Tip for charging your PP

Post by mejulie69 »

This is not a question, just a top tip I wanted to share ..... the is no need to remove your PP from your bike every time you need to charge it... equally, you don't need a power socket near by... just get yourself a powerbank / USB battery.

Does that keep it at the same angle each time?

Nice work, @4speed! You have some machining skills way beyond mine...

I'm interested in the purpose of the clip over the Powerpod tab. Is it to prevent wear on the plastic tab, or to insure a solid connection to the mount? I could see where one could make a clip that would allow the mount to be tilted to optimize viewing the Garmin screen while still keeping the Powerpod at the appropriate angle. I find that I have to run my Garmin flatter than I'd prefer to keep the Powerpod as parallel to the ground as possible.
