TT Bike Calibration question

Post by oxenhoper »

Hi John

Just wondered if you could cast your eye over a file that was produced last night on my local TT course..

Felt like the power readings were spiking too much and wasn't giving an accurate reading. It was hard to keep to a power figure as it was fluctuating too much.

Course was 10 mile and wind pretty constant.

As ever any help muchly appreciated.

Steve

Please post photos showing how your PP is attached to your bike: front, side top and bottom views.

Will post some pics later... but i know that the position is spot on. It is a solid mount with nothing blocking the port, no movement with the Powerpod... it is the same mounting i've been using for a year now. Just the last couple of so of TT's i've done the figures have been fluctuating and spiking.

I'm concerned your mount is not stiff enough.

You might want to get one of our new under-the-bars TT mounts. It is rock solid stiff and will work with your aerobars.

Hi John

It did cross my mind... it seems stiff but any vibration could i guess screw with the settings. I have no issue at all on the road bike which uses a K-Edge out front mount... so it is pointing to that.

I guess you ship to the UK no problem ? and what is the lead time i'm looking at ?

Thanks and much appreciated.

You can ship less expensively, but without tracking. We don't insure non-tracked packages.

It's your call!
