We've been made aware that Garmin has recently issued a firmware update. For some customers who have applied the update, they report that PowerPod power and cadence numbers "freeze" after a few minutes of riding.
The problem is that the Garmin can pair to PowerPod, either as a BLE device or as an ANT+ device. If paired as a BLE device, the Garmin freezes.
The fix is simple:
1) spin your sensors to awaken them
2) click the button of PP to turn it on. Solid green light will show
3) On your Garmin, find your settings/power sensor (we're not sure precisely how to find this screen)
4) PowerPod will appear with the name "PowerPod" as a BLE sensor, and as a 5 digit number, ANT+ sensor (it is not named "PowerPod" in the ANT version). Select the ANT+ setting
If PP is paired to your Garmin as an ANT+ sensor, all should be well.
