Powerpod for mountainbiking

Post by Kulgan »

Hi,

I am very interested in the powerpod, but I was wondering, as I am mainly going to use it during mountainbiking, does the powerpod recognizes decends where there is no pedaling required?
Or is the use of a cadance sensor needed for this?

Thanks,

On a mountain bike, I think it would be best to use a cadence sensor.

Yes, any ANT cadence sensor will work. Note that you will also need an ANT speed sensor.
