Powered not being recognised by PC

Hi
charged my powerpod via Mac Imac PC. blinked red and when charged light went out. when i touch button later blinks green
was being recognized but now no USB indicator on top line of software icons and i get "device not recognised" every time i try to do anything via software
have done hard reset by holding button when connected and disconnected for more than 10 seconds
also will not synch with bike sensors eg cadence like it used to
what can i do
