Position change midride

Hi guys,I wonder if the is a change in watts if I change my position midride. For example I have I road bike with aerobars, so in the flats I stay aero and during climbs I grab the hood, and downhills in the drops. Will I see the same amount of power or there will be a difference depending on my position. Also,if I put a second bottle or a bottle between the bars, the PowerPod will realize it after some time,or I will have to recalibrate it. The same goes for clothing during summer and winter? Thanks for the response!

Your PP will give you good readings throughout your ride:

1. Set up your PP for the "TT" position.

2. On the flats, your PP will provide accurate numbers because you've set it up for your aero position

3. On climbs, 90% of your power goes to overcoming gravity, and you're riding more slowly, so it does not make any difference if you're less aero (riding on the hoods)

4. On descents, most likely you're doing a fair amount of coasting, so again it does not matter if you're in the drops

5. Summer/winter clothing can make a minor difference, but I would not bother
