Powerpod and Specialized Roubaix Futureshock

Hi,
I'm considering purchasing a Powerpod but I have a question.
One of the bikes I own is a Specialized Roubaix 2017 with the Futureshock - basically a damper between the frame and the handlebar. If I mount the powerpod on the handlebars, will it give correct and, most importantly, consistent power values? I don't have a way of locking up the damper like it's supposed to be done on MTBs for the calibration ride. But on the other hand, the futureshock damper has a maximum compression of 20mm. I do a lot of kms on cobblestones, Will that be a problem?
I will be swapping the powerpod between two bikes, one of them is a more conventional road bike. Will I be able to get consistent power data between the two?
Best regards,
Mario Bessa
