New profile/O&B - or tweak an existing profile?

Post by Bugsbunny »

Hi John

I've been using PP for a couple of years now and had a profile working fine.

But I've since gotten some new flashy Enve wheels that are much wider/aero and wanted to update the profile.

How do I go about doing this? Do I "update" my existing profile or should I create a new profile for these wheels and do an O&B? I can't figure it out from the PDF files.

Basically, I don't know how to do an O&B given that I already have a tuned profile in place.

Bugs.

Your wheels are more aero, so you need to lower your CdA by a little bit.

Go to Edit/Edit Profiles/Advanced, and select the profile you're using with this bike.

Click the radio button next to "Wind Scaling". You will be able now to adjust your CdA.

Lower the CdA value shown by 0.01. So, if the value of CdA you see is .369, lower it to .359.

Click in the window to accept. You'll get a warning message; that's OK

Finally, click the Send to Device button. Your lower CdA will be transferred to your device.

You won't have to do a new O&B ride.
