Power drops to zero below 30rpm

Post by GooseRider »

Hi,

Just noticed today that the power goes to zero when cadence drops below 30rpm. That is a little sad when I am working a really steep section and the cadence drops to 28-29 and there is no power.

Wish I had more strength so I could pedal faster ...

Thanks,

Morten

You can see your power in Isaac, using the "Tools/Repair/Repair Ride for Missing Cadence..." command

The more important question is: shouldn't you be changing your gear set? It's borderline unsafe to pedal with such low cadence...

I should get stronger. 34-32 up 18% grade in places ... Dont think. I can change gearing. ;)

Yes, I see the places around mile 12-13 where your cadence drops below 30 and power drops to zero.

If you highlight those sections in Isaac, and use the Tools/Repair/Repair for Missing Cadence command, your power readings will be restored.

We will take a look at our firmware settings, though honestly, the prospect of turning at such a slow cadence sounds painful to me!
