Powerpod alignment

Hi ppusers and velocomp,
I am curious about issue caused by powerpod misalignment either too high or too low due to the type of mounts and handlebar configurations. Since its a portable unit if switch bikes this might generate issues eg. calibration, data accuracy etc.
Currently, am using a water level ruler to measure my front mount by using the device word "POWERPOD" as a reference line in parallel to a level surface. Am unsure this is the right method. Would appreciate your feedback and whether velocomp can maybe print an alignment line on the device to simplify the installation process.
