John,
Figured out that I probably messed up my profile by doing a bunch of "check calibration" tweaks so I decided to start over with a new "best accuracy" calibration ride.
The file, and the 16 mi ride following the calibration ride are attached. Would you give them a quick look and let me know what you see?
Also, this profile now reflects me finally taking off 15 lbs from the beginning of the season; I'm working to continue the trend. How much change in weight warrants tweaking the profile again with a new rider weight?
Thanks!
new O&B calibration ride
Re: new O&B calibration ride
This ride file looks great!
Since you ride on very gentle hills, I would readjust your profile only every 10 pounds.
For example, on your ride, you can use the "Analyze/Analyze Bike Settings..." to change your weight by 10 pounds. You'll see that if you drop another 10 pounds, it has only a 2W effect on your total.
When you ride on the flats, weight has very little effect on overall watts.
