Possibly abnormally high power today?

I had a nice long hard ride (one of my hardest efforts for sure) today and it seemed like my PowerPod was reading high. My Garmin Fenix 5x showed a huge jump in estimated FTP from a previous 318w to 354w as well.
I updated to the latest firmware on Wednesday this week.
I had to get off and walk a few times because of water, sand, and debris on the road. Would that impact the power calculations?

It looks like your PP is reading a bit "hot".

With your PP connected to Isaac, use the "check calibration" feature. This will adjust your wind sensor more accurately and also reduce your watts.

I'm envious of your FTP, even the lower one...

I ran the "check calibration" and clicked "send to iBike". Is that all I need to do?

@lambrettaman: Cool. I used to hve a 2 stroke engine Lambretta many yrs ago! Fun to ride...until an oncoming driver made a sudden left turn and I went right into the car, flying over. Cracked helmet, bruised bones but ok overall. Ended up selling it a year later.

Awesome. I have a big a vintage scooter problem as a bike problem. I have 5 Lambrettas in fact. I commuted on a 1961 today.
