TT training and normal riding

Post by mrgoose »

Hi,

Might be a daft question, but I use my PP on my Defy on my Turbo Trainer, most of the time, but once in a while I ride outdoors.

The power looks fine on my TT, but when outside it look like no power is being generated. There is a section in the last ride it did when I was going up a 12% hill for 1km and the output is 14w.. I was expecting about 250-300w as per my presumed power output by strava, https://www.strava.com/activities/493445959#11848971669

I have thought about flattening it and starting again. I don't change the profile from 1 to the other between types of rides, should I?

What do you advice?

Thanks
Angus

When riding outdoors you need to switch your PP to outdoor mode before heading out!

I converted your ride using the commands Tools/Repair/Convert to Outdoor ride, then Analyze/Analyze Route.

Corrected ride is attached.
