Will the PowerPod be upgraded with Bluetooth Smart connectivity next year?

I'm keen on purchasing a PowerPod but the lack of Bluetooth Smart is a deal breaker for now. More and more developers are dropping ANT+ from their products/apps and it looks like it's a matter of time before it becomes obsolete.

We will be introducing an ANT/BLE PowerPod next year. This PowerPod product will not be an "upgrade"; it will be a new product, as the electronics are different.
