Hey there
How do you guys remove a broken pitot tube from the PP? It broke right above the thread. Gluing e.g. a chopstick to the pitot bit in the PP to be able and wind it out?
As I am on vacation right now: What would I expect from the readings now that the pitot tube is gone? Will the PP recalibrate itself and give meaningful data (except for crosswinds)?
Cheers

Pitot Tube broken
Re: Pitot Tube broken
You can remove the pitot tube by inserting a screwdriver (I use a phillips head) into the tube so that it engages the broken tube. Don't push too hard. Then, turn the screwdriver counterclockwise to remove the broken part.Rembert wrote: ↑Wed Apr 05, 2023 1:55 pm Hey there

If you do a new cal ride your unit will work without the pitot tube.
