Detailed instructions on doing a NEW calibration run
Detailed instructions on doing a NEW calibration run
Because of travel, I have had to break down my bike several times, including taking off the handlebars AND even removing the PowerPod V3.0 from the bars. I am now back home and have put everything back together, but because I can't be sure the PP is EXACTLY the way it was before (and I added a pitot tube), what are the exact steps I need to do to set up the PP for a new calibration ride? Thanks.
Re: Detailed instructions on doing a NEW calibration run
Do the following:
1) Attach PP to handlebars, making sure it cannot rotate on mount
2) Awaken your ANT+ speed sensor (and more, if you have them)
3) Press-hold PP button for 4 seconds, until it goes into pairing mode. When pairing is finished, light will go solid green briefly, then out
4) Click button; light is solid yellow, ready for cal ride.
5) Perform cal ride.

Thanks. I will give that a try.
Re: Detailed instructions on doing a NEW calibration run
Quick follow-up - it tends to not pick up the speed sensor until that gets awakened - so should I spin the wheel with the speed sensor to get it to connect?

In order to pair to sensors, they do have to be awake. So spinning a few revolutions and then fire up the PP>
