Resetting max/avg values of Newton

Maybe I repeatedly overlook something, but I do not know whether it is possible to get rid of the max/avg values without doing a hard reset.
1. I tried trip reset
2. I tried data reset
3. I searched for the word "reset'" in Newton manual
4. I searched for the word "reset'" even in Newton 4 manual.
5. I even made some similar queries in ibikeforum
But could not find any reference for what I want. I wish to delete the avg/max temperature values to make a tabula rasa.
