Velocomp Tracker Account
Hi,
I recently moved over to Mac OS, so have installed and have Velocomp Aero for Mac working.
However, if I try to login with my Velocomp tracker credentials (Device -> Login to Velocomp tracker..), the interface simply does not respond when I click 'login'. Is this a known issue, or am I being daft?
I do appear to still be logged into the IOS app (although the settings interface is missing most of the text) and should still be logged in to tracker thru Issac on my old Windows device.
Thanks,
Jon

Hmm...we have not seen this problem anywhere else.
Please post screenshots showing what goes wrong in your attempt.

Re: Velocomp Tracker Account
Hi John,
Thanks for the prompt response, I note that the interface with the correct credentials appears to 'login', but there is no confirmation of success. However, if I provide a bad password then, I do see a response stating that there is a problem. So, it appears that I am logged in.
I think I need to try making a ride with the tracker, to see that the feature works end to end. I have not bothered for a while as I thought that the feature was broken (just took me a while to post this to query that state).
I'll try for a ride tomorrow, all being good.
Regards,
Jon

Re: Velocomp Tracker Account
Hi John,
I managed to get out for a short ride today. I ran Velocomp Tracker on my phone from the start to the end and uploaded afterwards - see: After connecting my PowerPod to my Mac and downloading the ride file, I open the ride I just completed and select (from the burger as shown in the image) "Device" then I see an entry for "Get GPS data from Velocomp tracker" but this option is greyed out: I have verified that I'm logged in (albeit without a confirmation).
I also noted that if I open the ride in Tracker then select the Issac button, it tries to upload, but fails with an error (I assume because the file has already been uploaded?), see: Later I will try to copy the ride file to my Windows computer to see if I can get to the tracker/ gps data..
Regards,
Jon

Re: Velocomp Tracker Account
Hi John,
I have figured out that the issue is something to do with my over engineered home network.
Using my phone as an access point, I can login to tracker and get a confirmation, after that I can download the GPS data.
Now I just need to figure out what is being blocked from my end. Is there a specific IP address or hostname that correlates to the tracker login and data?
Regards,
Jon

Re: Velocomp Tracker Account
Just for reference, the url that is called when getting the GPS data is:
ibike.dyndns.biz on port 7444.
I had to provide an allow rule on both my home firewall and my DNS provider (NextDNS).
