HEART RATE, POWER STROKE, FORUM

Post by JOHN WALKER »

At 30-12-2016 heart rate and power stroke where displayed and also could access forum.

At 1-1-2017 did a warm up followed by FTP test and then cool down, have recorded further rides.

Heart rate is clearly showing on Newton.

Any rides downloaded since 1-1-2017 heart rate is not showing, nor can power stroke be accessed nor can
forum be accessed. However, when any rides prior to 31-12-2016, heart rate, power stroke and forum can be accessed.

A ride to today, shows distance traveled on Newton at 36km and on Garmin as 34km.

Please post a .ibr ride file that illustrates your problem.

There are three things going on:

1) Your profile for the 1/1 ride is different from your 12/30 ride. It looks like you switched profiles.

2) Your 1/1 profile does not have your HR strap code in it; this is why you don't see HR. You need to do a new Scan, so that your HR strap number will be recorded

3) I suspect your 1/1 ride was recorded with PowerStroke recording turned off. When you first turn on your Newton, you should see the message "On Fast Rec". If you don't see this message then PowerStroke has been turned off. Turn it back on using Setup or using Isaac.
